Fishing Rods

Rods are the cleanest progression route in Pull a Lucky Fish. The starter rod is functional but limited; better rods widen your cast, raise fish luck, and help you escape shark encounters more safely.

Fish

Fish are split into common (Codfish, Colorless, Sunfish, Dolphin), uncommon (Puffer), rare (Alien, Prism), and mythic-class (Voidfish). Each fish placed on your island produces passive coins.

Auras

As of July 2026, Pull a Lucky Fish does not surface a public aura menu on the in-game shop or community indexes checked here (robipedia, pullaluckyfish.com). The Auras page is reserved for when Openwater Games adds aura content. We will not invent auras.

Mutations

Other Roblox fishing games (Fisch, Fish It!) use mutation systems to multiply fish income. Pull a Lucky Fish has not yet confirmed a mutation system in the live build per robipedia or pullaluckyfish.com. The Mutations page is reserved for the first verified mutation list.

Islands

Pull a Lucky Fish uses an island-tycoon system. Once you catch a fish, you place it on your island to generate passive income. Common fish pay less, rare and mythic fish pay more.

Gamepasses

Openwater Games publishes 4 gamepasses on the Roblox store. Each grants an x2 boost to one system. None of them gate core progression. Players can hit the cast-catch-place loop fully without spending Robux.
